Hotel Mercure Graz City

The Mercure Graz City was a fantastic hotel. We had actually booked another hotel for the MotoGP at the Red Bull Ring that was so bad that we left, having paid for it, and decided to go to a Mercure as you always know what you are going to get. The lady that greeted us when we arrived was absolutely amazing, friendly, welcoming and exactly what you want after a long drive. She checked us in very quickly, gave us a lovely room and as a birthday treat added breakfast for the last night of our stay. She really went above and beyond to make sure that my birthday weekend wasn't spoilt by another poor hotel experience. The hotel is very conveniently situated, good size rooms, great breakfast room and has a wonderful bar. There is also a great parking garage which is always a struggle in city centre hotels. I would highly recommend the hotel and we have already booked to return next year.

I don't think there is really anything that would have improved our stay, if pushed, it might be nice to offer some bar food if the restaurant isn't open, but then there are so many great restaurants to try around the hotel, it might also spoil the hotel.

Location close to the city center, convenient parking, helpful personnel.

The AC very noisy, outdated furniture

Business hotel molto bello ed elegante, camera veramente molto spaziosa e ben arredata con un bagno grandisssimo, doccia doppia anche se mancava il bidet. Wi-fi in camera e aria condizionata gestibile dal termostato autonomo. Colazione completa sia dolce che salata con ambiente molto ampio e ben gestito. Posizione a dieci minuti a piedi dal centro, con il pregio di avere un parcheggio pubblico a più piani esattamente sotto la struttura, adiacente un supermercato Billa. Un ascensore porta direttamente alla reception e poi alle camere. 19 euro al giorno in convenzione invece di 22. Prezzi allineati agli altri parcheggi, i park gatuiti sono praticamente introvabili a Graz. La strada antistante la struttura un pò trascurata ma sicura. Ristoranti e locali nell' adiacente zona pedonale. Da ritornare.

Il personale non parla italiano, ma è disponibile nel farsi comprendere in inglese. Il corridoio delle camere al secondo piano ha la moquette che sapeva un po' di odore.

Posizione strategica, in un attimo sei in centro, ma non hai il traffico del centro

Colazione abbastanza scarsa, pochissimi prodotti senza glutine. Camera non sufficientemente pulita.
