Taj Usha Kiran Palace, Gwalior

The staff....we want to take a moment to say a big thank you from our hearts for looking after us so well. We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and what a beautiful time you gave us. The luxurious room upgrade, the anniversary chocolate cake, the footspa, the congratulatory 'Happy anniversary' in leaves on our bed and the heartfelt messages from individual members of the team all combined to make us feel like royalty. Overall the food, hospitality, service, and the surprise coordination on our big day were excellent. Again our thanks to the entire UKP team for putting in so much effort and helping to make our stay unforgettable. There are too many lovely, kind people to thank but those who deserve a special mention are Anay, Harsh, Yashavi, Sonali and Ujala, as well as Soumya and Sneha. But please, let me repeat, the entire team are to be congratulated for their kindness and warmth towards us. Thank you again, Jacqueline and Adrian Barnfather.

Everything was excellent

A lovely, excellent value hotel. Particular highlights were the delightful staff, particularly Anay, Sonali and Rani; the excellent food; and the extremely spacious, comfortable room.

Unfortunately, there was a large corporate event taking place in the grounds, meaning extremely loud music through the evening until 2300. I think any five star hotel should be notifying guests of this upon booking.

WOW! Just wow! From the moment we arrived at the Taj, we felt incredibly welcomed and well cared for by Sonali and her team. The arrival experience was wonderful, and the thoughtful touches throughout our stay made it feel truly special. We were delighted by the little surprises and treats brought to our room, including delicious baked goods, which added such a personal and memorable touch. The staff were exceptional - in particular Sonali, Nidhi, Kaustubh, Anay and Sagar. Everyone we encountered was attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly, always making us feel looked after without ever being intrusive. The dining experience was equally wonderful, with excellent service and absolutely delicious food. Sagar made us some delicious cocktails and is a real master at making them! Our room was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed, making it a pleasure to return to after each day. The hotel itself is simply stunning and incredibly picturesque. Every detail, from the setting to the interiors and the service, felt special. The spa was incredible and exactly what we needed to relax and unwind - Nidhi went above and beyond to help sort this for us. Overall, this was an exceptional stay. The combination of beautiful surroundings, wonderful hospitality, thoughtful surprises, excellent dining, and an incredible spa made our experience truly memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special and genuinely welcoming stay.

Bags were unloaded at the gate for screening in my absence (it’s designed like that) why should I trust any one with this ? Any one can be set up /sabotaged
