You get great value for the money! The Hotel is very well located, rooms are clean (bathroom is a bit tiny) and staff is very friendly and most helpful at any time. Special thanks to the breakfast lady and the owner Hakan (with whom I enjoyed some really nice conversations). There is a rooftop terrace with incredible view to the Blue Mosque and also a breakfast terrace overlooking the Bosporus! Breakfast is delicious with a good variety of dishes and fresh fruit. We had a wonderful time at Angel‘s Home Hotel, thank you very much for everything and all the best to you!

I liked the quietness of the neighborhood and the hotel, the view, the hospitality, and the cleanliness of the room.

The breakfast could have been a bit more varied, with more Turkish products, but it was okay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. First of all, I would especially like to mention the staff - everyone was incredibly friendly, polite, kind and welcoming. The hotel itself is small and intimate, but very cozy. There are so many charming little details, and you can really feel that the owner pays close attention to the comfort of the guests and to the overall atmosphere of the place. A special highlight was our room, especially the absolutely stunning ceiling! It was so beautiful and gave the room a very special character. We arrived in Istanbul after staying in Antalya at a huge resort with an enormous restaurant and endless food choices. By the end of that stay, we were honestly tired just from deciding what to eat :) So the breakfast here was perfect for us. The selection is not enormous, but there is everything you need, and everything is very tasty. This place is definitely more about quality than quantity. A special thank you to the lovely women preparing breakfast. We especially enjoyed the different styles of omelettes, Turkish delight with yogurt, potato pastries, and the absolutely amazing black coffee - that deserves a special mention! Another little bonus during breakfast is being able to watch the seagulls outside the window and even carefully feed them. For me, that was a small dream come true :) We also loved the atmosphere on the terrace. The hotel owner has excellent taste in music - a small radio was playing wonderful songs, and it made the terrace feel especially cozy and atmospheric. The location is also very convenient. There are many interesting sights nearby, and you can easily reach them on foot, which was a big plus for us. The bathroom had everything we needed for our stay - and even more.

My only suggestion would be to add some non-slip surfaces or a non-slip mat in the bathroom or shower area. On the day of our departure, my mother slipped quite badly, although fortunately everything was fine in the end. I think this small addition would make the bathroom even safer for guests.
