Levantes Ios Boutique Hotel

My wife and I love this hotel - so much so that this was our third stay there in 6 years (and we never usually repeat holidays). We've had a suite with private pool for our last 2 visits, and the outside area, pool and the view of Mylopotas beach are absolutely stunning and definitely our main reason for coming back. We cannot get enough of spending time out there. However, the main pool and surrounding area are also beautiful (and shares the same view), and the quality of food, drinks and service in the restaurant and bar is very good. The staff are helpful and friendly and the location is brilliant - you're 5 minutes either way to the beach or to the centre of town and there is a bus stop right outside. Also Ios as an island is just perfect for us - the main areas (port, Chora, Mylopotas) are really close together with a reliable bus service which is super convenient, then the town itself may be small but has a lot of options for food or nightlife, and some of the streets are as pretty as anything in Mykonos.

Maybe it's because we've been so often, but a few areas of the property are starting to look a little tired and could do with a lick of paint (e.g. around the main pool), and breakfast, although decent enough, maybe lacks fresh hot options and has been the same for 6 years ;) But these are minor things, and I have little doubt that we will be back in a couple of years

The staff were really nice and friendly the drinks and meals were reasonably priced. The place was kept really clean

It was a steep walk to the beach, but there is a bus which is quite frequent. Also to be fair you can walk to the nearest town. I think it took about 35 minutes, but a taxi was only 10 euros.
