Friendly staff, nice pool and leisure facility.
Tired former grand hotel. TV service in room was poor - didn’t really work. All the windows could do with a solid clean.

Great hotel, perfect location right next door to the train station and about 10 minutes walk into the centre of town.
Comfy bed, excellent breakfast and really lovely helpful staff.
Nothing I really disliked, I've stayed here before which is why I stayed again. I feel that this room could have had more attention to detail with updating . Nothing major and it certainly won't stop me from booking this hotel again.

Id booked the room for my partners 50th. Wasnt expecting a four poster bed. The room was so spacious with its own bathroom and dressing room. Very comfy. Good location. Of course you have leisure facilities which is a plus staying here.
Hard pillows and dusty. Especially on top of 4 poster and some dust in bathroom. Realise there must be a high turn over but dont think the rooms get cleaned to a high standatd. Weve stayed here lots in the past and the rooms are never spotlessly clean

Central location ideal for me to get to the GNR start line and next to the train station
Staff were friendly especially Rokeyya at the reception and the slim English lady cant remember her name apologies
Extremely loud music from nightclub next door which kept me awake for both nights especially on race day I was kept awake by the loud music until 4am
