Connaught Lodge

Excellent location 10/10, Breakfast was impressive, food tasts great. The staff are professional and i like the spa facilities.

No complaints.

Very nice breakfast

Restaurant closed early

Lodge was 10/15mins walk from beach and had lots of restaurants and shops around. Also 10mins walk from main shopping area and Pier. The staff were really welcoming and the hotel helped make our wedding anniversary celebrations special.

Didn’t realise lodge was separate from hotel. Lodge itself is old fashioned and bit worn but worth staying here as is very close to beach and you get all access to main hotel facilities.

Staff were super friendly. Great location to the beach and close to my work. Room was very spacious.

Lots of wear and tear - especially in the bathroom. Bathroom needs lots of attention to tidy up and remove moldy areas. Breakfast was suitable but could have had better selection and been fresher (i expected better from a best western). No sound proofing at all. I could hear everyone coming in and out the building, up the stairs, all the doors going, conversations /coughing in surrounding rooms, even people switching light switches - made it difficult to get good night sleep when staying in the area for work. Pillows and quilt need updating.. very flat.
