Great place to stop on the NC500. Next to the road but rooms out the back so not an issue. Emma was a really lovey host as was her partner. Both dinner and breakfast were lovely. We would come back.

Warm welcome, good location for Orkney ferry and castle of Mey
Poor quality bathroom with rusty fittings, leaking shower etc
We were given a disabled setup wetroom bathroom which wasn't ideal to use.
Pod coffee machine in the room but no pods provided. Whats the point?
No tissues in the rooms
Inflexible breakfast timings. Only 1 table every 20 minute slot.
Small portions. Felt unnecessarily tight.
Lack of understanding of food intolerance - chef suggested it was "a choice'
