This place is simply fantastic. Kacey is a brilliant hostess. Prior to arrival, she sent lots of information through which was excellent. Then during the stay, she was on hand via WhatsApp and replied any questions in a heartbeat. Her cooking is absolutely second to none so you’re in for a treat if you book here.
If we come back up to the Highlands, we will definitely be returning

We had a wonderful time at Burnside during our road trip through Scotland. Our suite was comfortable and provided all we needed. We loved walking around the tranquil setting and making friends with the local sheep. Our host was friendly, attentive, and the food wonderful. She lent us binoculars and guided us to the best places to see puffins. We’re happy we had the opportunity to stay there.

For the many who brave NC500 in abridged time and end up at the northernmost point of mainland Britain, Burnside is a sight for sore eyes and tired bodies! Excellent dinner, breakfast (local sources) and care for the weary! At the back of beyond the arrival itself is great reward for an adventure. Emphasis on green and clean is added bonus. Way exceeded our expectations - an 11 out if 10 for sure! 👍
