Roxford Lodge Hotel

I really enjoyed my time at Roxford Lodge Hotel. The property has a fantastic atmosphere. It feels like living in a classic, cosy redbrick townhouse rather than a generic hotel. Location-wise, it’s ideally situated in a pleasant neighbourhood that’s close enough to walk to all the central sights without being surrounded by street noise. On a practical note, having European Type F sockets available right in the room was a great, thoughtful detail that made charging devices so much easier. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and authentic base in Dublin!

Clean and in a quiet mainly residential location.

The only complaint I’d have was that the room, although nice, was a bit cluttered. For example with two wall mounted lights at the bed head, there was no need also for bedside lamps which took up almost all the space on the small bedside tables.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was nice and clean and included a refrigerator. Room was updated including the bathroom. Staff was great. I give the room a 10. Breakfast was continental but there was a great place within 5 blocks that was recommended and very good for a better selection and a variety of coffee.

The facility was not convenient to the main attractions as we thought we could walk or drive. We needed a 20–30-minute taxi ride to them all from a driver who knew where he was going. Elevator did not work when we left and unfortunately, we were on the second floor with much luggage. Things happen. I would give location a 6

Very comfortable room. A beautiful hotel in a quieter part of Dublin at walking distance of Trinity college.
