Great location. And very cozy rooms. Very quiet
9 / 10Eccezionale·set 2026
This boutique hotel is located in a quiet residential area. The property’s historical charm is well preserved. The rooms are very clean and service is attentive. There is a wide selection of western and Chinese food at breakfast.
The afternoon tea sweet items are limited to cream cakes and does not offer vegetarian options for the savory items. Not good value for money.

Good breakfast, staff was polite. Beautiful building and excellent location if you enjoy the western-style "party flavour" of the French Concession. Shout-out to the restaurant across the street, which was among the best we experienced during our week in Shanghai.
The building appeared to block mobile phone signals, a strange problem we had in no other places in China. Staff seemed almost eager to send guests on their way when it was time to end breakfast.
