Pool area Location, near the night bazaar, in a quiet zone

Is not a good thing to generalize (we came across super nice staff members, but a significant number of them was not. We went 4 times to the pool, in two of them there was no towels, when they came, they didn't brought us one. One of the times, they didn't pick up the dirty plates and glasses from the previous guests, nor brought us the menu. Rooms outdated. Room cleaning very poor. Not what we expected from a Shangri-la at Thailand. As someone said in a previous review, they are trading on the name and the number of stars.

helpful and polite staff, large "resort" similar to a Vegas style resort, great value, large rooms with comfortable beds, within walking distance to two (2) different food courts/street shopping. Highly recommend

ماء الاستحمام يتحول الي البارد باستمرار الافطار لايصلح للمسلمين

The pool was a nice setting but a bit run down - was passable

I’ve stayed in 3 shangri la hotel in the past 12 months and they’re extremely run down, they’re no longer in the premier league of hotels and I wouldn’t recommend them for the price. Plus they served me raw pork which I ate some of before noticing, as a guest that would make you feel ill plus it could actually make you serious ill. Their response was to offer me a free 20min taxi to the airport. I was disgusted It’s a dam shame cause it was 20 years ago I stayed in my first shangri la and was in awe - not I’m just gutted I wasted my money. I won’t be staying again - there’s better and modern 5* hotels in Chang Mai

A bit too pricey, for my taste. 

Comfortable rooms, excellent staff, especially Nan in the bar.

Everything went well . The check in staff gave us a warm welcome, especially the Horizon club staff. Highly recommend the horizon club and will ask for it again for my next stay.
