Shangri-La Chiang Mai

The building is resplendent in it's architecture and design. The grounds, pool and spa are second to none. My room was spotless, the bed, comfy but the star of the room were the pillows! Fantastic selection of several nations fare. All fresh and delicious . My compliments to the chefs and staff! The concierge Nu and Benz are exemplary as are reception staff and a special mention to the gentleman who communicated with me in the lead up to my stay. Thank you Shangri-la team for making my stay a wonderful memory! ❤️

Staff were amazing; warm, friendly and eager to assist.

The mattress was a bit hard for my liking. On 2 occasions, the staff got our food orders wrong; one concerned an allergy condition.

Large comfortable room but totally overlooked by huge apartment block Daily fruit Wide offer in main breakfast restaurant but it gets overcrowded Kim and Wade deserve praise in the restaurant

The hotel has had its day. The garden is ruined by the 100s of neighbouring apartments Neglected pool area - rusting slide, broken concrete and some umbrellas mouldy and torn Horizon club staff allow complete breaks of the rules - guests stuffing their bags with drink, guests brining in their own food and wearing inappropriate clothing Food offer in the club exceptionally poor - food unimaginative, bland, cold , lacking any sort of dressing, too meat focused Our experience was so poor we cancelled our planned stay at the Shangri la in Bangkok
