Sunwing Kamala Beach

When booking, we were looking for a resort suitable for both our young children and my elderly parents to relax and have fun. This resort is perfect for those needs. Extremely family friendly with plenty of activities for kids and so many big swimming pools to choose from. The breakfast buffet is incredible. Kamala is also an awesome part of Phuket because it is much quieter but still has plenty of great restaurants and spas, and is only a short taxi ride from Patong for more shopping and nightlife.

The restaurant food was good, but I would have liked to have more uncommon Thai dishes to try.

very nice hotel, nice rooms, wonderful pool area, very clean and kids friendly. Kamala is a beautiful beach, we love it!

The pools were great. There was plenty of chairs and every pool had a nice big shallow area which was great for younger kids. The variety of water slides was also great. The 2 bedroom family suite was a great size allowing our family the space we needed. Food at the restaurant was nice as was room service. We loved the location with so many beachfront restaurants a 5 minute walk away. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Having a laundry room on site (100baht for a wash and 100 baht for the dryer) was very handy. This resort felt like excellent value for money.

The cocktails at the pool were not the best , and breakfast was a little lackluster.

The amount of swimming pools and options for children to have fun. The water aerobics class was the highlight of my stay.

There was massive confusion about the rooms allocated to us. When on booking it stated pool view, we were offloaded to a family room with not much view at all( some random backyard with trees). Staff were initially reluctant to accept the mistake and on significant push back moved us to the studio room with pool view. We didn’t move out to another room as it was a hassle to do so. Refund has been promised. So let’s see.
