Maison Albar - Le Diamond

Stayed for 2 nights in a entry level room, stayed on the 5th floor. Service: Kind personnel, who spoke English. Checking in was a breeze, directly being invited in the lounge with a drink while the concierge handled the rest. Afterwards i got a tour around my room. Rooms: The room was clean. Comfortable bed and multiple pillow options. Excellent airconditioning. mini fridge filled with drinks (charged extra). Some free snacks and a robe were included. The waterpressure was outstanding, providing the most comfortable shower in a hotel ever. No noise complaints. Facilities: Unfortunately did not test the gym. Some dinner options are available in the hotel. The hotel itself provides a unique futuristic vibe, like stepping into a John Wick movie. The wifi was okay, but the tv did not work initially. Location: Good location in one of the better/safer areas. The louvre museum and Montmatre were within 30m walking distance. A train/metro station was next door to reach every major hotspot within 20-30 minutes.

Rooms: The room was a bit small for 2 people. Also the floor in the bathroom can be a bit slippery, so watch out (especially on the provided slippers). Also, while the room was very well decorated, it did seem a bit dated here and there. For example there were worn furnature (alot of scratches on the wood), the carpet was bulging in some places and there was some mould on the bathroom window. Also the toilet got very wet after taking a shower. The TV did not work, but was quickly fixed when alerted.

The location is excellent

Nothing

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained nicely decorated room with great shower and bathroom facilities.

I didn’t like the rooms.
