Lovely old pub with wonderful food. My partner has allergies and the staff were really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast and dinner both were good with plenty of food and choices. Our room was lovely, comfortable, clean, and quiet.

The room, staff and location

Breakfast was dry , tasteless and lukewarm. It would have been better if we had been told before booking that the pub was closed to everyone on a Monday as we would have opted to arrive on Tuesday.

Staff friendly & the bed was very comfortable.

TV did not work as aerial probably was not great! So could not watch any TV if we wanted to.
