The Swan is perfectly located to explore the town and the castle. The pictures don't do justice to the beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable rooms! The recently renovated establishment is a gem. The staff was helpful and the instructions are simple and clear. The pub is also an excellent choice for breakfast and supper. Plenty of breakfast options were included and the supper menu was varied and elaborate. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely sleep here again.
Nothing!

Centrally located, great pub, friendly staff. The actual room was really tastefully decorated. The room can get warm but they had a Dyson fan which was all we needed to get to a perfect temp.
My only pause is the bed was a little soft for me, but that is subject to interpretation- I can sleep on a wooden plank!

Central location, lovely little town, beautiful castle , about a mile walk to a lovely pub overlooking the River Arun called The Black Rabbit.
No smoked salmon despite it featuring heavily on both the breakfast menu and the main menu. We were told they where expecting a delivery this morning, but after two days still no salmon !. They actually sold it in the shop close by ! . Milk or teabags weren't refreshed in our room. It states in the room booklet that you can order light bites and have them brought up to the room. But there where no light bite options on the menu and when we questioned it they just said oh sorry the booklet needs updating
