Last minute booking. Very smooth.
Afternoon sun in room was lovely.
Nearby construction work.

The motel provides accommodation very close to the centre of Wanaka, so it is an easy walk into town for food or entertainment. Despite being close to town, it was still a quiet unit.
Very dated, cheap and basic room facilities which hardly justifies the tariff charged, but I guess the price reflects it being in Wanaka and close to the town centre. In keeping with its age, I was still surprised that the windows were not double glazed, given the cold climate, and the unit (bathroom especially) seemed quite cold for our winter stay. Not really a cozy stay.

"Great location. Near to town but away from the busy and noise of the town. The lady at the reception was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean."
