Central located, easy to find it, and pretty convenience property to meet business colleagues and friends.

Four chairs at the lobby was inconvenient, not enough and the little place allocated for the chairs, doesn’t match the image of the Sheraton.

We stayed for 3 nights and requested a quiet room, this was confirmed. Our room was front facing on the 5th floor. The noise was horrendous from the square opposite all weekend. Organised groups of dancing and brass bands start around midday these are then replaced by raves until 0130, no chance of sleep. The management admit this is normal and are powerless, with the Police not interested. Don’t think that after 0130 you will get a good nights sleep as Political protests start around 0530. This has been my the worst experience of noise in a hotel having been a World traveller for 30 years. The hotel it self is of a good standard, a bit tired and dated with friendly staff. Finally the hotel had an in house DJ on Saturday night in restaurant bar area, it appeared to be competing with the noise of outside and it was not possible to hold a conversation without raising your voice.

The hotel was beautiful. We had a lovely room overlooking a square, where there were people dancing every evening. The room it's was clean and spacious. It's right beside a shopping centre and not too far to walk to the main square with all the tourist attractions. It is located about half way between the main Square and the fountain circuit, which is well worth a visit.

We didn't include breakfast with our stay because we thought it was very expensive at $18 per person per night.

I picked up a parasite infection. I am not sure, where, as I did not use the water coming out of taps, except to shower ( careful that way). We ate at the buffet in the hotel and only other food at the hotel other times. My husband was fine. Not a good start to our cruise.

Exceptional service both front desk and breakfast. Great location next to the heritage district. Breakfast room was bright and spacious with large selection of food. Venessa, in the dining room, was very attentive and we appreciated her departure gift. We look forward to staying again.

I couldn’t stay longer.

From the moment I arrived, friendly staff grabbed my bags, welcomed me to Peru, walked me through my room, and tried their best to ask questions in English I would understand. Quite polite and accommodating, I felt welcome and at home. Breakfasts wonderful, wait staff eager to get my decaf coffee and even wrote my name in froth one morning. Truly appreciated that.

The traffic outside the hotel is abysmally noisy at busy times. The Sheraton is a jewel rising above the city center and an oasis. There is nothing Sheraton can do about this, however. I was just thrilled to have a central location to walk around the lovely old town area and explore.
