Where do we begin…the location is perfect if you wish to stay within the walls of the Medina. The host Laurence is lovely, gracious and genuine. The space is beautiful and serene. And last but far from least is the staff…they are ALL EXCEPTIONAL. But most definitely we want to give a warm thank you to SIMON & MOHAMMED for all their great advice about everything one needs to know and see in Marrakech and also, for making My Birthday extra special. We highly recommend Riad & Spa Laurence Olivier to all who want to visit Marrakech. And lest we forget: the turtles are adorable too!

We loved how beautiful the riad itself and the decoration were. Also the staff was very helpful, service was great. Having breakfast as an option was also very nice.

According to booking, our room should have had a bath tub. It was missing, was a regular bathroom. This makes price/performance not really successful.

Posto incantevole, arredi curati ed in perfetto stile marocchino, terrazza e giardino interno meravigliosi. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Una sera ci siamo fermati anche a cena, ottima e preparata con molta cura. Lo staff è cordialissimo e sempre pronto a dare suggerimenti ed aiuto. Un grazie particolare a Mohamed e Simon per la loro cortesia e simpatia.

Nulla

The Riad is beautiful and the staff is very kind.

We were there just to hear the silent and desconect from our busy life in Spain and we are very disappointed because During our stay at the hotel two painters were painting the interior of the Riad with a ladder and there was a room under construction with noise. We had to ask several times to stop making noise and they promised that when we were in the room they would not. But being in the pool there was noise and it was very annoying. Is known that when a hotel is going to do construction it should close, or at least notify us of this situation before making the reservation. In my case I would not have taken it. We have claimed and they return 10% to us, it does not seem to us that it compensates the inconvenience. Choosing a Riad is part of the travel experience, and arriving at a Riad with several workers all day around the Riad, painting and making noise, is a negative experience.
