The location was amazing and perfectly set next to the water and close to the city center. The AC was amazing! I haven’t been to any hotels in Sicily that had AC that worked this well! The sea view from the balcony we really loved. Spent an afternoon out there and we end went down and grabbed a few drinks and lunch. The food was awesome. I loved how breakfast and dinner were included and then the flexibility to change it to breakfast and lunch if you wanted dinner at a different restaurant.

They didn’t come in and refresh the towels and garbage in room. With it being a beach hotel a lot of sand gets brought in even if you aren’t going into the sand. So we had sand in bed, all on the floors too. We tried to wipe our feet but still came in.

I think the winning point of the property is the location, so close to the beach and at the same time in the middle of the town where all the restaurants and shops are, and right at the corner with the seaside walk starts . Overall our stay was pleasant, and we felt especially pampered by our floor cleaner in attendance, she was an amazing lovely lady that was super nice with our baby.

Some of the staff at breakfast/ restaurant were a bit forgetful and uptight but overall the whole experience was very nice. Tables in glass and bulky chairs made feeding a toddler sometimes dangerous and quite complicated, maybe they may want to reconsider some furniture choices in future…

When we arrived, we were told that there were technical issues and, as a result, there was no water in the room. While we understand that the accommodation could not do much more than work on the issue itself, it was still very inconvenient to not be able to flush the toilet or even refresh ourselves for several hours. What disappointed us most, however, was the complete lack of any gesture or initiative to make the situation a little more pleasant for us. We were not expecting to get things for free, but rather some indication that the inconvenience was acknowledged and that the guests were being taken care of. For example, a complimentary refill of the water in the room, free use of the beach beds, or simply any small gesture from the accommodation would have made a difference. More generally, we noticed a surprisingly low level of attention to the details that make a customer feel genuinely taken care of. This was particularly disappointing because this was our honeymoon. Instead of feeling like we were staying at a premium accommodation, for which we paid more than €600 per night, we often had the feeling of being in a budget hotel where everything comes at an additional cost — even beach towels at €3. For us, it is not about the price but the value for money. It is about the level of service, attention and care that you expect when paying this kind of price, and unfortunately, we felt that this was missing during our stay.
