Amazing view out to the beach and ocean. The signage was down (for repair I think) at the time we arrived, so we could have easily missed it without our friend we were travelling with who'd been there before. Room was comfortable and warm.
Room was missing the small table in the sitting area (our friends had one in their room, but we didn't).

Spacious rooms. Stunning views of the ocean from the room balcony. Breakfast meals in the restaurant were delicious.
Very bouncy beds. When one person rolled or turned over, the other person bounced. Honestly made it hard to sleep for both of us.

Great upmarket hotel in Punakaiki. Wasn't very busy but well looked after.
Luckily it wasn't raining as there is a bit of an outside walk to the units.

Great location. Good hotel facilities, room more limited.
Room had some cleanliness issues, probably one off. Outside light for unit was malfunctioning so walking upstairs in the dark, no conditioner which I would expect for the price. Not bottle opener. No ice/icebox portion of mini fridge not functioning.Mattress had large label across lower portion which was very noticeable and uncomfortable. Pillows were all same type, so if you weren’t happy with it couldn’t switch for one of the others.
