The room had a full size bed and a sofa-bed, it was well furnished and cozy, the bed was comfortable, it was roomy and the balcony was very nice as well, it was decorated in traditional Austrian style which was very good.
The doors have traditional locks with keys, on the last day the lock got stuck so we couldn't exit the room. Luckily the hotel staff was well prepared and opened the door for us and promised they would look at it later. There was a trash bin only in the bathroom, it would have been nice to have one in the room, the TV was a bit old and didn't have netflix capabilities, it wasn't an issue for us, but might be for families with children.

The welcome at the hotel was warm: we were greeted with coffee and cake.
The room was spacious, bright and clean. The beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but all in all we slept well.
The buffet breakfast was of excellent quality.

The classic atmosphere like your back in the older era. Healthy and delicious breakfast. The room is big and nice with the good view from the window.
As there are no people on reception late that evening, I tried to explore the area. I got a creepy feeling when I went to the spa as there were no people around.

The hotel was very sweet, authentic but modern. The room was very spacious and cozy, with comfy beds. It also had a lot of light thanks to the two windows in our room, with the beautiful view (mountain and alpine neighbourhood). The room was warm enough for winter travellers and there was free parking outside. I also liked the little city Bad Goisern and the whole neigbourhood, the whole location of the hotel. The sauna in the basement was a great addition, and the breakfast was also very good.
The staff seemed cold and even irritated at times (especially the one at the breakfast) so it felt like we're not so welcome. They served coffee and warm punch (but no tea) in the lobby, only until 5 p.m. It would be great to have a kettle in the room so you can make yourself a warm drink then (especially during winter). The wi-fi was also very poor. A smart TV option would be great especially for foreigners (since all their TV programmes are synchronized in German).
