We had a fantastic stay here. I can honestly say that I have never slept so well. The location was quiet and very peaceful. The grounds around the chateau are beautiful and I loved the gardens and the way the chateau had been decorated. The exclusive use of the well equipped spa was a special extra bonus. The team were enthusiastic, kind and accommodating and we were given some great local insights and helpful information for getting around. The room we had was beautifully and sympathetically decorated and was much bigger than I had expected with a lovely spacious bathroom. The breakfast we had served in our room was absolutely amazing. I have never seen such a beautiful spread. It was very well received and more then kept us going for most of the day! Very special.

The only things to be aware of is that you either need to drive to local restaurants or book a local taxi. We struggled to get a taxi so its worth thinking and booking ahead. There were good recommendations for local places to eat but several were closed on a few nights of our stay so again worth planning ahead. The only thing that would have made our stay a tiny bit better was that there is only the mini bar in the room if you want a drink, and it only had one beer in it that we polished off on the first night! This wasn't replenished so we did end up buying a couple of bottles at the local supermarket. The choice of wine was very good though. Just on a hot day we fancied a cold beer! However just a tiny little thing when the stay was so good. 😊
