Have stayed here many years ago - it is a great location, close to great restaurants. Lovely old building.
I really enjoyed chatting with the staff and breakfast last time we stayed here some years ago - I’m sure it is much more streamlined to have self check in etc but I miss the personal touch.
On street parking.

The building is beautiful and interesting, with lots of historic architectural details (like the chandelier and ceiling moulding in our room) and thoughtful furnishings, particularly in the front lounge and tea rooms. The North Hobart location is perfect too; you are close to everything in the CBD, without feeling like you’re in the middle of a soulless business area.
We would’ve liked a bigger bin in our room, but otherwise had no issues.

Kelly-Ann, the manager was so helpful and personable. My room was great and the bed was very comfortable.
The Lodge is in a very handy position which made walking to most Hobart attractions easy.
Nothing.

Not an awful lot if I am honest.
Place smelt damn. Toiletries were half used and hadn't been replaced by the cleaner, kettle was beyond disgraceful and had thick grime and dirt inside it.

"Location was great, easy walk into town but nice and quiet at night. Beds were comfortable and staff were friendly."
