SHIROYAMA HOTEL kagoshima

The service was excellent and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was quite spacious and clean. The view of Sakurajima was awesome. And the weather was perfect to see it every morning. The shuttle service between the hotel to Tenmonkan and Kagoshima station was great and always on time.

We had a room with the onsen tub. But the tub and shower were in separate rooms so you had to walk through the room to get to tub. It was a little awkward but the tub was nice and hot.

Very professional and welcoming staff. The free shuttle service to the parking lot and downtown area is superb and incredibly convenient. Having a convenience store, shops, and multiple restaurants within the hotel makes everything so easy. Our room with a view of Sakurajima was unforgettable. The spa is spacious, relaxing, and offers a top-notch view.

The restaurants can be on the pricey side.

Minami is the best concierge

The Onsen is really worth the visit and you have a nice view to the Vulcany!

The bathroom was not cleaned very well as well as the menu on the TV screen (with all hotel information) was only available in Japanese! Please be aware that you have to pay for all food and services extra (Gym 10$ per use, Breakfast, Dinner …)! The restaurants are all very expensive and the quality is everage from an European point of view! I would not recommend a stay here , it was unfortunately not worth the high money! There are many 3 star hotels in Japan where we had much better experiences for less money!
