Great location, unique family owned property, very clean, great value, great location next to train station and short walk to town and Inca fortress
location next to train station is fun and fabulously convenient (literally 2 meters from tracks), but you will hear trains early morning to late evening which may bother light sleepers

It is within the train station ,literally when you hop off the train the entrance to the hotel is at the platform, which is super convenient as we need not join the line outside the gate to queue for train. We can just pick our luggage and hop on the Peru rail .The breakfast is excellent and the staff is very helpful .
Will be good if can provide bedroom slippers as the floor is cold .

Close to station, secured
Very very pricey

The reviews for this hotel are really good so we decided to spend a little more than we usually would expecting an exceptional experience. While nothing was terrible, there was certainly nothing exceptional and at that price you do expect at least attention to detail.
To get to the hotel you need to access the train platform which gets overrun at certain times of the day. While rooms were clean, there was no shampoo or shower gel which I would consider a bare minimum for this quality of hotel.
