Beautiful room, magic little village - a real treat. Dinner was absolutely delicious - a steak pie that was better than any I've ever tasted in my life - it was also huge so we finished it off for lunch the next day!
Loved the place - BUT, chose one of the courtyard rooms if you mind buses pulling up outside the window! :-) Not an issue for us, but worth knowing!

An excellent stay with staff that were so helpful - everything was top notch including the food in the evening.

We’ve been coming here for several years now usually as a one night stay when returning home. Convenient for major routes. Food is excellent.
It is clear that whilst the estate is up for sale, very little is being spent on upkeep so the place is starting to look a bit worn. I hope that any new owners are prepared to invest, it would be a shame to let it fade away
