Olly & Peter were fantastic hosts. Very interesting to hear about the Charles Kingsley connection to the hotel.
Rainfall shower was hot and powerful. Kitchenette provided everything we needed. Bed was comfy. Nice touch was the really good fan to cool the room.
Would recommend the Chequers Pub close by for good food and a friendly staff.
Nothing but it would have been a bonus to provide coffee and cake in the lovely courtyard!

Very welcoming staff and a lovely property. Spacious room and very comfy bed. We needed to set off early as we were hiking and very hot weather so great to have some packed breakfast ready at agreed time.
Sadly we have to comment here as the shower was awful - had a hose clip already attached and just would not switch off so it dripped all night and kept me awake. We did report this and the owner assured us he will be fixing this.

The location was lovely and the property had a quaint little courtyard that had a Mediterranean feel.
The staff were very lovely and attentive
No hand towel in the bathroom
No blackout blind/curtains
Breakfast was ok, not the best quality of ingredients that we would have expected for the additional cost
