Great location, close to shops. And a good complimentary breakfast. There is free parking outside after 19.00, all other times it is paid and limited to one hour. We decided to leave our car in paid underground car park opposite the hotel. For 24 hours it is about 25 francs. This wasn't a problem for us, just informing other guests of the parking fees.
The walls are a bit thin, we could hear the tv of the person in the next room, but it was quiet after 22.00.

Paid parking in the area. Dark atmosphere. Outdated lobby, hallways and rooms.

Super location in the center of old town. But most important very kind and friendly hotel personal.
Outdated furniture and room equipment.

friendly staff, always helpful. If you miss a water kettle or a little fridge in the room, only ask and you get it immediately.

I liked the location of the hotel and the friendly people most of all. We were very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room.
Breakfast is too early (6.30-8.30a.m.) and sometimes, rarely though, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom.

This is a traditional hotel, nothing fancy, with a large enough lobby for 8 people to gather. The Italian restaurant in the same building was excellent. Location is perfect. Staff was helpful and accepting of some last minute changes.

Reception is only available during limited times. However, check-in was possible earlier thanks to the key safe.
Although Covid restrictions applied, the restaurant was still open for hotel guests, both for dinner and breakfast (included).
The room is small and rather old. Shower very small and old.
On Sundays, the conference room on the 1st floor is used by a church organization (ICF) to hold sessions. Including loud music that can be heard in the room (2nd floor).
