The Hotel and the room fit into the overall and general experience of the Venice that I expected. Location offered the opportunity to easily walk to my chosen top places to visit.

Unique place despite there are renovations going around.
I would appreciate water in the room. And I thought I have also booked a breakfast but it seemed no no! We had ot outside.

The location as far as closeness to the things of Venice and being on the island was nice
We were frustrated that the hotel was advertised as having a common area and a eating area with a beautiful view on the balcony, and when we arrived, apparently the owner has taken that over has his residence so that is no longer available to guests. The room was what we expected, and it was clean and fine. It was just in a very hard location to find which would be nice if they gave more directions on actually how to find the entrance and then not having the common area with a view that we thought we were getting.
