Room was comfortable ,plenty parking.
Totally under staffed. One lady trying to serve at the bar, take food orders & check people in. Shower head had come away from it's fitting. I needed to fix it before we could use it. Impossible to use shower without flooding bathroom. Had to order a shower mat, which was left in the corridor. Poor selection of drinks in the tiny bar, no real ales

We were walking on the Camino Ingles the pilgrim route from Reading to Southampton. The pub is not on the route but was still a convenient place to stay. Friendly staff, plentiful pub food and good value for money.

The room was clean and pleasant enough
The smell of cannabis filled the entire hallway and completely stunk out the rooms.
