The closeness to a friends house.
I was disappointed that under Miller & Carter there was no lounge. I'm sure there was when I last stayed there. Waiting to be picked up would have been so much better in a lounge rather than in the bedroom in which there was only one chair for two persons

Was ok. Room a little tired, but clean. Right on the bus route to Manchester City or to Hazel grove. Great breakfast. Good welcome, friendly helpful staff.
Check in process was complete pain. Needing codes sent to mobile phone etc. I can’t be bothered with this stuff. Especially as I pre paid the room.
