It's a decent property, not very high occupancy, staff also seems on the lower side, had only breakfast, spread was predominantly Asian/ Chinese Although weather in Hangzhou is good , the rooms were stuffy, no ventilation and the airconditioning seems dated or the hotel tries to cut cost, inspite of setting the thermostat at 20 degrees middle of the night the room becomes intolerable hot and then you reset the thermostat , also a lot of noise from inside the AC vent , not so if something was loose or was a rat, Outside the hotel there is a good Indian restaurant and a McDonald's outlet in the same complex, which takes away the eating woes especially for Indians. Was an ok stay, could have a lot more better

It was a clean excellent hotel and is a full Non-smoking property so there is no residual smoke smell anywhere. Facilities are also good and well worth the rates we paid. Another very good aspect for Indian travellers is that there is an Indian restaurant just adjacent to the property so Indian travellers will be able to get Indian food in China which is otherwise quite difficult to get or you have to go far. Overall a great property.

The room temperature was set at 25 degrees with heating on and it became too hot at night. It could not be adjusted as it was centrally locked. I would have preferred a room temperature of 22-23 degrees Celsius.

The breakfast had a wide variety to choose from so that was really refreshing and something I appreciated. The location of the hotel was convenient and was able to find my way to different places easily.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. I pretty much enjoyed my stay there from start to finish, so that was something I really appreciated.

Breakfast was very good - typical continental.

Carpets in the room were not very clean (with some old spots. Furniture in the room is worn.

The location is excellent, it's near several famous tourist spots - West Lake, Leifeng tower and food street.

I thought the room was a little small.

The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent english. They upgraded our room and the view was stellar. Breakfast was great!

The rainful showerhead didn't work and the sprayer had the most intense water pressure, I couldn't believe it was too much . To be fair though, we didn't ask them to fix it when we were in the room, we just laughed through it as we needed to check out quickly anyways.

Very clean, prompt service from the staff, great spinning TV in the center of the room makes for a flexible use of the room. Good views, great Indian restaurant across the road. Good pool. Breakfast was pretty good, love the Shanghai pancake, but not too big of a selection otherwise.

The hotel is a little older so the decor feels a little dated. The location also is a bit remote - while it's only a 25 minute drive to Xihu, the area immediately around the hotel is a little sparse. There's a McDonalds, a Indian food restaurant, a convenience store and a couple other restaurants but that's about it.
