Little gem in Hambleden

It was absolutely gorgeous. Staff warm and friendly, food was delicious and our room was perfect and slept soundly. Definitely recommended if you are going to Chiltern Valley Winery for a tour.

Lovely quiet location (when there is no wedding at the church)

Room was very comfortable. Parking convenient.

Buffet at breakfast could be better.

Lovely overnight stay 💕

Beautiful building, quirky room. Staff lovely. Loved the location. Big bath, great for my tall and broad partner. Breakfast was really nice.

The only thing that let the place down was the service at breakfast. The little things that we had to ask for. We felt that maybe someone should have explained where to find everything you needed when you sat down.

Family Time

The welcome was warm and friendly, the food was very good and the beer excellent. The whole atmosphere is calm and relaxed.

Superb

We loved our stay, the staff were friendly, the food was good and location perfect. Will definitely return in the summer.

The bed, although comfortable on each side, the split down the middle became uncomfortable as the mattresses moved apart. The shower head could do with replacing.

Superb

Lovely large room which was tastefully furnished and very quiet. We had our dog with us and it was all very dog friendly with an open area right next door plus footpaths for dog walking. Dinner and breakfast were very good with a wide choice for both. Would definitely recommend.

Lots of old world charm with beautifully decorated rooms excellent facilities. Restaurant serves top notch food .

We were recommended this pub to eat and stay but although the room is very nice comfy bed

Breakfast had a varied choice, evening meal was good .

Quality of the hot breakfast ingredients was not so good, coffee could have been hotter. Staff seemed somewhat indifferent and not very attentive.

Fabulous location the staff were welcoming..the room was lovely the age of the building gave it a wonderful atmosphere. We had a lovely dinner and the Breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast good. Catering manager helpful and friendly. Gardens great.

Noise from staff chatting through window. Tables too close in breakfast room. Another guest coughing often and bringing up phlegm 😱

I had a good night sleep after a nice walk with dog in the surroundings and a fine meal.

Liked the atmosphere, location, food, tidiness, friendliness, all good.

It worked for me and 6mnth border collie fine.

Beautiful setting, wonderful staff, excellent food- the cottage was very quaint & comfortable. Gryfindor is adorable 💕
