Ardross Glencairn

Convenient location. Clean room.

It was noisy with other guests walking the halls and thumping upstairs and in the room above. Not really the guest house's fault. No parking although we were able to find street parking.

This was booked for the Loch Ness marathon. The location was brilliant as near to the finish location

The Room, Number 46, in House Number 17, on the 1st Floor, was very nice, and Clean, and the Bed was very Comfortable. Lovely Pictures, Beautiful Chairs etc. Lovely on the Eye. Lots of Tea, Coffee, Milk and Sugar for Drinks. Breakfast was Really Good, with Many Choices, of Both Cooked and Continental. The Dining Room was Nicely spaced out, Everyone was Very Pleasant and Very Helpful indeed.

There were just a few things, but, on the Whole, were Not Detrimental to My Overnight Stay there. I couldnt turn the Hot tap on, it was Stiff for some Reason. I was unable to have a Shower, but it may have been something that i was doing wrong, re the Controls. Im 68 Years old, so not too " in tune" with some New Controls. Once settled in My Room, after a busy Morning, i couldnt be bothered going out again, and stupidly didnt think to Phone for Assistance, which, If i had done, im sure, would have arrived Promptly and Sorted it all out for Me. It might have been nice, to maybe have a few Biscuits, to go with my Cuppa. The Location is near The Northern Meeting Park, which had Music playing in the Afternoon, that was okay. However in the Evening, it became Louder, but did end at 9pm. For Me, Personally, i like to go to Bed and rest earlier than that, so like Peace and Quiet. Obviously, this doesnt happen all the time, so best checking in future. On a Personal Note, although i was aware that there are Three Buildings, that are used, i didnt think about the fact that Breakfast was to be served in Building Number 19. Theres nothing Wrong with that, But for Me, I do prefer to Eat in the same Place that im Staying in. However, all things considered, I would still Highly Recommend the Property, and Would definately stay there again.

Location was great, staff very friendly. Rooms are cosy

Bathroom wasn't very clean - few stains behind toilet and the mugs had some stuff stuck to the rim I needed to wash off before use. Pillows were very large and hard.
