Convenient location for station

Rumble of trains was slightly audible in room, but acceptable Slow WiFi without signing up and paying? Really? That is unacceptable these days, so don't be so stingy!

The rooms are spacious and super comfortable. The hotel is literally part of the train station and 50 m from the Eurostar terminal. The restaurant has a good wine list and the food was tasty.

The hooks in the bathroom are pointless - the towels won’t hang on them!

Right next to midi train station and very quiet. Comfy beds and pillows. Nearby late night food & bar. Good price!

Wi-Fi was very slow, but could stream video.

The only real positive for me was the location. Being directly accessible from Brussels Midi station is very convenient, especially if you have an early train to catch in the morning. It certainly makes travelling easier. I didn't try the breakfast, as €28 is far too expensive for me, particularly when I wouldn't eat anywhere near that amount of food so early in the morning.

Unfortunately, my experience at the Pullman Brussels Midi was very disappointing, and I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel. The room was ridiculously small. There was barely enough space to get a suitcase past the bed, making it quite uncomfortable and impractical, especially for a longer stay. The separate toilet was another poorly thought-out feature. Although the toilet was separate from the bathroom, there was no washbasin in the toilet itself. This meant having to walk back into the bedroom to wash your hands. I really don't understand the logic behind that design. To make matters worse, the bed linen was torn and had holes in it, and the bed itself had an unpleasant smell. This is simply not what I would expect from a hotel of this standard. I also found the facilities rather disappointing. Despite having to pay a £50 deposit, the room offered only two sachets of coffee and cheap wooden stirrers instead of proper spoons. The minibar consisted of just two cartons of water, and it wasn't even clear whether these were complimentary or chargeable. Overall, the room was cramped, the cleanliness and presentation were questionable, and the facilities were underwhelming. For the price and the reputation of the hotel, I expected considerably more. Unfortunately, this hotel fell well below my expectations, and I would not choose to stay here again.
