The Old Fourpenny Shop Hotel

This hotel is a real gem, what looks from the outside to be a small country pub is in fact a beautiful hotel with great bar, dining room, conservatory and fantastic garden/outdoor seating area. Lovely rooms with expensive furnishings and fittings, great tea & coffee facilities and a very good breakfast. Possibly the best bed and pillows we have ever experienced. There is no parking on site, but you do have access to free parking on the Warwick Racecourse ground 2 minutes walk away. Staff friendly and helpful, and would love to return in the near future. Thoroughly recommended.

The only negative was that we did not get to spend more time at the hotel as we were meeting friends in town.

We have stayed at The Old Fourpenny Shop Hotel a few times now and it has consistently been one of our favourite places to stay. Great facilities, lovely staff and great food.

We had breakfast twice and ate at the hotel on Saturday evening. The food was very good and plentiful. The rooms are a decent size, stylish, clean and comfortable. There is a mini bar if you want it and tea, coffee and biscuits, sparkling and still water. The staff were all very pleasant even when they were very busy. I have stayed 3 times so I obviously like it. Met up with friends who have stayed 4 times.
