Location-wise the hotel is very central and convenient if you're travelling to Dorchester by train. Both me and my wife are gluten- and dairy-free and the hotel met our requirements perfectly. The service was very good. You were particularly helpful when my wife needed a hot water bottle. They got one for her straight away.
For our needs the accommodation was perfect.

Great location, close to the station and town centre.
Was quite noisy in the morning though when they were rolling out the barrels for the pub.
Very basic room, didn’t look quite finished somehow.
