How dark the mirror area was impossible to do make up

The staff were all very helpful. The Hall is an amazing place steeped in history. It was a treat to be able to enjoy the garden spa.
Maybe there could have body lotion in the bathroom.

It was an absolute gem to find. Only went because of funeral nearby next day but what a find. I'd love to revisit. Soa area was great. Room and bed comfy. Dinner excellent. Price bed and board was same as premier inn but so much better
Nothing I didn't like

Beautiful grounds. Lovely stonework. Outdoor grounds were incredible.
The steam room/ sauna weren’t hot. The advertised ‘ice dip’ was a bath of tepid water. The staff were all very young with no sign of a manager in site. They were pleasant but didn’t have much initiative and could have done with some support as there was a wedding on the night we stayed and they were understaffed to deal with the capacity. Breakfast was quite basic. No fresh orange juice and had to serve your own tea and coffee.
Not sure I would stay again for the price.
