I stayed here twice on my recent trip to the Santa Marta area. I will return!
One end of the street surrounding is a bit sketchy after dark but easily avoidable and the staff is really communicative and helpful about how to navigate the area with no issues.

Breakfast is very convenient and well-rounded! Service was kind and helpful, relaxed like the local culture. The pools are beautiful and a nice oasis in the centro historico. AC was also very functional (mini splits in the rooms). I appreciated the staff coordinating an airport transfer for me when I departed.
I stayed here twice, bookending a retreat on the sea. My first room was on the first floor and had no windows, which was fine just for the two nights I was there. If you need windows, book an upstairs room, but also know the neighborhood surrounding can be a bit loud with music that can be heard more on the upper levels of the hotel. Both rooms I stayed in were quiet during sleep on floors 1 & 2.

The hotel was nice, everything was clean and the staff were friendly. Drinking water and pool towels were provided.
The room we had was on the ground floor which lacked windows and had no ventilation, but this did not appear to be the standard across rooms.

Beautiful setting, three pools, convenient location, comfortable bed, very nice bathroom, pretty good breakfast.
There were a few noises in the room that kept us awake, especially the fridge (probably not cold enough, the ice tray and drinks kept cracking).
