Very easy to get to via the bus. The member of staff at the desk was very friendly. It was clean and quite comfortable, a nice cosy communal area downstairs. Also, a shop behind reception for any essentials.
Quite basic but met all needs. Also quite expensive for a hostel, but cheap in relation to other options in this area.

very near to bus stop, hence you can hop on from lucerne station and catch an bus which drop right at doorsteps. Very nice and quite place.
no lifts , so have to carry big luggage all the way up on third floor. may be good if they give 1st floor if they see a family.

Great location, slightly further from central train station and tourist places. No worries, free Luzern visitor card is given in advance for free public transportation. Clean bedsheets, housekeeping is provided every day for bathroom. Free toiletries (not many hostels offer that), free locker room to store luggage after checking out (2 Fr coin is required to use the lock).
Please install mosquito nets. On my second evening we had huge bugs jumping inside the room. And kitchen could be cleaned more, fridge is quite dirty, but fault lies with the tenants.

Easy and fast connection with Luzern town. Parking in front of hostel is a plus.
Host was welcoming and helped out when we told her there was no hot water on site.
Very basic. Too expensive for what you get in return. Needs some urgent upgrading.
Only 1 (moulded) shower for 4 rooms is too little. The bed was so bad that I slept on the floor.
