Great location for Edinburgh airport. 4 stops in tram to airport from across road. Also shopping centre across road. Comfortable room.

I love the location, quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. My room overlooked the Corstophine Hills and you can see the spires of Clerminston Tower from the Scott Centenary Tower peeking over the tree on the horizon. Waking up to see the sunrise over that every morning was simply serene and beautiful: a great start for the day. The tram stop, at Gyle Centre is just a 5-minute walking distance and gets you to Old Town within 20 minutes or so. So, it is very convenient. And it is also very near to Patina, one of the best places for breakfast and brunch in Edinburgh !
The overall lighting of the room tend to be quite dim. I love that it makes the room feel very cozy. But I can’t help thinking if there is an option for me to get it a bit brighter at times, as reading or doing my Sudoku and crossword puzzles as I unwind for the night can quite challenging for these age-old eyes in such dim lighting.
