Clean and very comfortable, very welcoming and felt like home, private and roomy with your own outdoor space, awesome location and Alfina is a fantastic host always available to help in any way she can.

the Property was amazing. Top location, just minutes away from the port of Varenna and the town. Very clean and with lots of space and a private parking for our car.

As others have said, this is a wonderful place! It was incredibly comfortable for our family of five, the location is amazing — a short walk to the center of town, a wonderful little market less than a block away, and a little rocky beach less than a block away. We didn’t need it much during our stay, but the air conditioning is very strong. The apartment was stocked with anything we could possibly need, and Alfina is kind and thoughtful. We had a wonderful stay on Lake Como!

Everything was wonderful!

The rooms were filled with thoughtful touches. Everything was sparkling-clean and in top condition. The double bed in the bedroom was extremely comfortable and our kids reported that the pull-out sofa bed in the living room was great (we didn't use the single bed in the bedroom). Our hostess was kind, friendly, and informative: she met us, showed us the apartment, and gave us suggestions for dinner and swimming beaches.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a little washing machine and dryer in one of the bathrooms. It was a relief to be able to wash our dirty clothes. But, unfortunately, the dryer didn't seem to dry our clothes very well. But since I hadn't expected laundry facilities in the first place, I really can't complain! The apartment did come equipped with a clothes drying rack, so we took our damp clothes out of the dryer, spread them out on the drying rack, and let them air dry.

While we had many different accommodations during our recent travel to Europe this VRBO set the bar. Alfina, the host, was generous and hospitable welcoming us with such kindness assuring all our needs were met. She provided breakfast items and charcuterie meats for food during our stay in addition to thoughtful gifts (bottle of wine, pistachio cream). Secure private location with great landscaping. Layout of unit with comfortable beds and 2 baths were perfect for our family.

Nothing... would not miss an opportunity to stay here if you are visiting Lake Como.

That we didn’t stay longer

Everything was so nice. Alfina is the best host possible. She made our stay a perfect experience. Since it was our honeymoon, she even had a surprise cake (so good) and a prosecco bottle prepared for us. If that wasn't enough, she fully stocked the fridge with a lot of good food that helped us a lot for our breakfasts. The apartment is very cozy and with the perfect temperature. Since our stay was in December, with a very cold weather, we found a warm and comfortable environment for relaxing and having a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the beautiful Varenna and the other locations in Lake di Como. We highly recommend staying in I Tre Oleandri if you come to visit this beautiful part of Italy. Grazie mille, Alfina!
