Was close to everything, friendly staff, great local restaurant/pub in the garden.
There was no space to put your stuff in the bathroom, no shelfs, only a small one under the mirror, no hangers to even hang your towels of put your clothes when you are showering/changing. Very creaky floors, but that’s the building itself.

The staff were super friendly and helpful
It’s an old property so everything was as you’d expect for that.

Good location to visit our student daughter. Breakfast was nice and easy and good value. Staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Extraordinarily uncomfortable pillows, room too hot and very noisy pub garden/rowdy drunk crowds on the street outside for a long time after the pub closed. Room was dreary and tired, curtain lining hanging down, no plug sockets next to the bed, just all felt grubby. Bathroom shower was good, but tiles were cracked, filled in screw holes in tiles, cracked sink, all felt worn out and rather sordid.
