There are comfortable cabins with lush greenery around, the breakfast is decent and Majid is there to help with questions and suggestions for Manizales. The room got cleaned every other day.
I moved to this place from another hotel because I was looking for quiet and good WiFi. I asked Majhid beforehand about these two things and was told that the wifi is good and the place is quiet. Apparently there's no reception in the rooms, only in the common living area, and although the place Is far from the highway there are loud barking dogs and loud chickens roaring at 5 am. Majhid helped me with the wifi but a more honest approach would've been better.
Also the large bird cage and the small chicken coup with 6 chickens stuck inside felt unnecessary.

Wunderschön gelegen, abseits der Stadt. Das Essen war der Wahnsinn! Vegetarisch und vegan ist kein Problem!
Bei der Lage sind Insekten völlig normal - unsere Balkontür hatte einen kleinen Schlitz, daher kam hin und wieder mal eine Spinne/Käfer durch.

Wir haben in einem Chalet gewohnt.
Es war sehr sauber , hatte eine angenehme Größe und eine wunderbare Aussicht .
Die Terrasse ( Balkon) lädt zum Entspannen ein.
Die Betten sind bequem.
Es sind überall Insektengitter vor den Fenstern.
Leckeres wechselndes vegetarisches Frühstück.
Wer das Abendessen nutzen will, bekommt ebenfalls sehr gutes vegetarisches Essen.
Das Personal und der Besitzer sind ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.
Touren und Sehenswürdigkeiten werden empfohlen.
400m entfernt Bushaltestellen (aller 5min), Taxis in die Stadt
Ein Aufenthalt den wir absolut genossen haben und nur empfehlen können.

Un lugar hermoso! Muy cálido, cuidado, limpio y la atención de su anfitrión excelente. Mayib te orienta en tours que podes realizar, lugares que podes conocer y personas con quienes podes realizar traslados.

Location was outside Manizales, perfect if you love being surrounded by nature. The owner was very gentle and kind. The entire staff was special. They also cook the chicken for my baby

Wonderfull finca with amazing views, great for birding, relaxing and exploring Manizales and the surrounding arrea. Majid and his crew are very friendly and helpful. This is by far the best place we visited in Colombia!!

If you’re unsure about booking - just do it. It’s really a fantastic location in a quiet spot in the hills above Manizales, truly stunning. One of the best places we’ve stayed on the continent. The vistas are incredible and I was amazed by the wildlife. Majid the owner is incredibly accommodating and helpful. The food (vegetarian only) is of an exceptionally high standard and is very healthy, which made a nice change for us. Manizales is around 20 minutes away either in a taxi or by bus. Owner is more than happy to advise and help with any transportation needs. Could have happily spent two weeks just in this place.

For many, this is a place to stay when going to the national park but, for me, it was a destination in and of itself. It's so peaceful and relaxing. The owner goes out of his way to help and the animals are also really sweet.
I think the vegetarian food would get old after a while. It would be nice to have other options. The other thing is that the cheaper rooms don't have wifi and this wasn't clear at the time of booking, so I paid extra for a different room.

The hostel is ideally located in a quiet area, 15 minutes away from Manizales center, so you can enjoy nature and a great view! The staff is lovely and very helpful to plan activities. Great food! Spacious rooms.

The garden and the views are even more spectacular than we expected. I got up every morning a bit after sunrise to watch all kinds of birds on the premises before breakfast (bring binoculars!).
The vegetarian food is very good, the staff very friendly and the yoga/ gym room is a definite plus.
There is plenty to do around Manizales,, but this place is really more one to stay and relax - for frequent day trips with public transport you might be better served with a more central location.
We had one of the cheaper cabins, which was functional and clean, but could do with some upgrades (e.g. shower pressure). Booking one of the cabins lower in the garden with their own balconies/ views might be worth the additional money, because there are limited public seating areas in the garden. I would suggest adding a chair here or there to be able to better take in the views.

What a place. If you want solitude, this is it. Majid and his staff are perfect hosts. I could have sat and watched the birds in garden all day. Brekkie and dinner are huge and the room was lovely.
Just bear in mind the place is a 20 minute bus ride from town if you don't have a car.

The view is the best you can find in Manizales. You have an amazing view on the mountains and the best for the sunset. There is a huge garden with a big variety of flowers, parrots, rabbits, Guinea pig, a cat and 2 dogs (you can have a walk with them). Majid is a great host and make you feel at home. I extend 1 more night just to hang around this place and relax. There is a room for gym or yoga and the garden is super quiet and perfect to relax and meditate. Definitely, the place to be.

One of the best locations in whole Colombia. Majid is a wonderful person that makes you feel welcomed into his paradise. It sure looks like one, amazing nature all around. He recommended nice things to do in the area, as well as helping us with booking and having an english tour of a coffee plantation nearby. Thanks again for your help!

The owner is very kind, as well as the other staff. Super friendly cat as a bonus! We also enjoyed steam in our hut. The place is very quiet, yet close to the city by either taxi or bus.

We loved our stay - this was one of our favourite places we stayed in our month in Colombia. The setting and garden is beautiful. We met amazing people staying there - interaction was encouraged over communal meals. Our room was big, quiet and very clean. Majid gave us lots of useful recommendations for things to do and tours. beautiful gardens, friendly pets, nice vegetarian food for 32cop each evening (not cheap but tasty)
we had laundry done which was more expensive than we thought but maybe we misunderstood. it was given back to us completely crinkled and the staff seemed annoyed with us for even wanting it back 32 hours later which was weird. We would have loved the ability to make tea and coffee through the day.

only complaint is it might be good to have some options for lunch as it’s a little far from anywhere (there’s a small bakery 10 mins away but not much for lunch)

Majid, the host, is such a kind and hospitable person. He was so helpful in showing us around, explaining things to do, and even drove us to the bus station on New Years Day when there were no taxis available. His place is stunning - the nature is beautiful, and the room was so nice, clean and comfortable. We particularly loved the bunnies right outside our room. Really nice breakfast in the mornings. It was great to meet other travelers as well at the meal times. Set away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Could not say enough nice things about this place - we hope to be back!
Only one suggestion for improvement - to mix up the dinner menu! We would have loved to eat here every night, but it seemed like the menu was always the same so that got tiring.

He is a wonderful host. The cabins have excellent views and privacy. Beautiful garden that attracts birds.
At the same time it is a nice place to meet other travellers, as you can have breakfast and dinner together in the main house. Excellent vegetarian meals for a reasonable price. Public transport to the city centre is closeby, so you do not need a car. You are in a natural environment, yet also close to a city.beautiful
Depending on how far you are from the main house, not all cabins and suites have internet. Some cabins could be decorated somewhat cosier.

Very nice Finca with beautiful garden and view. The garden has a lot of flowers and fruits, some coffee trees and you can watch many birds.
Majid is a very nice host. The vegeterian Breakfast and dinner are really good (dinner for extra charge available).
The city Manizales is very close and can be reached easily by bus (city center => between terminal and city center you can use the cable car)

Beautiful views and gardens. Nice food (breakfast and dinner). Cabin had a good kitchen with refrigerator, balcony with chairs/table and hammock. Nice to meet other guests and chat over a shared dinner.
There was a big cockroach in the shower when we came into the cabin. There was an electricity outage due to a big thunderstorm when we arrived. If this happens more often, it may be a good idea to put a torch in the room, as well as an umbrella, for guests to make up their way through the garden to have dinner. If staying for more than 1 day, a variation in breakfast and dinner would be welcome.

at check in we sensed some tension with the young woman checking us in as though it should not have been her responsibility. However, later she was perfectly fine.
