Perla B&b

Great location on the Lido, 10 mins walk from the public beach, 10 mins walk from vaporetto station for Venice. Round the corner from the supermarket and close to several good places to eat. The host was lovely, welcoming and helpful. A beautiful breakfast each morning of boiled egg, juice, croissant, coffee and yoghurt. The private garden area for guests is regularly visited by her pet tortoises and cats :). The apartment of 1 bedroom and a small ensuite bathroom, and outdoor seating area was perfectly adequate for 2 people spending most of the day each day in Venice or surrounds. No cooking facilities, and a tiny chiller for basics. But we were eating out and making sandwiches each day and the excellent breakfast kept us going!

The only thing we were missing was a couple of wine glasses, though our gracious host provided these when we asked. Mosquitoes, on the lido as everywhere in Venice are a menace. Don't travel without, repellant and bite cream. I lamented not bringing our mosquito net. But with a small space and a quick dart through the door in a cloud of repellent each night, we did not have to spend too long hunting and dispatching these flying teeth to ensure a good night's rest.

Gentillesse de la propriétaire Michela. Petit-déjeuner copieux servi dans le jardin calme avec la présence des tortues. Emplacement idéal pour se détendre.

Évacuation difficile des toilettes. Petit espace de douche mais fonctionnelle.

Michela était charmante, très à l'écoute, aux petits oignons. Nous n'avons eu que quelques très agréables conversations car elle fut discrète et respectueuse de notre intimité. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et elle a même été assez aimable pour cuire les oeufs de notre façon préférée. Le logement est calme et au printemps, ça sent le jasmin ! Six tortues et un chat passèrent parfois nous dire bonjour dans le petit jardin ; c'était très gai ! Merci pour cet accueil qui fit de notre séjour un vrai moment de repos.

Moustiques car Venise et le Lido sont un peu proches de l'eau. La chasse d'eau était un peu capricieuse mais nous n'en avons pas parlé à Michela, elle aurait sûrement trouvé une solution.

Il B.B era pulito, grazioso centro Lido in posizione facilmente raggiungibile dal traghetto. La sig.ra molto gentile e disponibile.
