Staff were excellent, as was the breakfast and other meals we ordered from the menu. We eat every day in the bar and could not complain about service or the food. We were there to visit family as we are from this region.

The bedroom was very tired, the windows were so draughty that we had to keep the curtains closed to keep the draught out but the curtains still moved with the wind and the shower room was terrible, water did not drain from the shower, you could not enter the shower room without going and standing by the toilet or you could not close the door as it was so tiny or you would not be able to close the door from any other position, if we had been larger in built we would not have been able to enter, definitely needs attention and updating.

Place was clean. The pub was not very noisy at all (at least from the 2nd floor).

The room, although a bit tired was clean, warm and comfortable . Nice meal in the restaurant too. Staff very pleasant.

The main entrance lock was broken and so we were locked out every morning after our walk., We left the door on latch as requested but they kept on locking it. When we rang the contact number it went to answer phone. Also the entrance was by the gents toilet which definitely had a terrible odour. I did tell staff when checking in how offensive it was but it didn't improve .

The property is literally across the road from the beach

If I had to be picky I would say the bathroom was cold but that’s really being picky.

Staff were super friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help. We ran late and the staff waited late for us to check in. Thank you! Pleasant stay for the purposes. Logged into WiFi to work which was great. Food was good and hot when it arrived.

The bedroom wasba bit cold. Could do with higher tog quilt for colder weather. The shower didn't drain quickly so almost overflowed. Having said that it was sufficient and powerful. Could do with a bath mat. Other than that the room was comfortable.

Room was quite cold & was woken up early in the morning by pigeons on the roof, which sounded like they were in the room. You could see a quite a bit of visible damp in the room aswell. Room & bathroom (especially shower) need a proper clean as there was hair in the shower that wasn’t ours.

The bed was very comfy. Luke the guy that booked us in was very amicable and professional.

The Sunday Lunch I had was overcooked and the lamb shank was soooo dry. My partners broccoli was over boiled and very very insipid. The Manager Jo needs to go on a Customer Service course as he attitude was sooo blasé. Not good. We were staying for 3 nights and had we not had to pay upon arrival we would have left on the same day!! One examplee of her attitude, we asked why we could not connect to the WiFi and she just said it goes over her head. She did not even offer another member of staff to look into it. The way she shuffled round the pub doing nothing was quite off-putting.

YWe were made to feel very welcome, so was our little dog, he was even given his own food at breakfast. Great location on the seafront. Service and food was good. Very well run.

Radiators not working in room and bathroom, additional convector heater supplied, unfortunately unable to use in bathroom which was cold.

Location was 10/10 right on the beach! All the staff were super friendly and the meals were yummy especially steak Thursday! The breakfast was amazing too and lots of it! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy especially my small children! Jo and Pierre the Italian were super hosts nothing was too much for them 🥰
