Loved the style and decor and the warm welcome

Lovely comfortable room with good sized bathroom. Great breakfast. Super location. Very helpful staff and communication. Despite my slight negative comment below, we did love this hotel and would definitely stay again.
We stayed during very hot weather but the aircon in our room (king room at front of hotel) was a standalone unit which was very noisy. If we opened the windows instead, the cars driving across the cobbles on the road outside at night was even noisier, which did disturb our sleep somewhat. However, this wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't a heatwave !

Lovely room. Lovely staff.
No lift, on busy street

Nice area and the outdoor pool is a real bonus.
We were told to arrive at between 2.00pm and 3.00pm. On arrival we then waited 45 minutes for Lydia to arrive and check us in. We found this unacceptable.
