Busfeild Arms

Beatiful room and kind staff. Great breakfast

We have stayed at the Busfeild a few times now, and have never been disappointed. This was a Thursday night and the place was buzzing (quiz night) Staff are all chatty & welcoming. We had our normal room which is huge with a very comfy bed and bathroom with a great shower. We had friends meet us for supper here, food was excellent again all the staff were smiling and chatty. In all a great place to spend a night or two.

Nothing

We were surprised how nice and big the room is. The staff are nice and we didn’t have any issues with the property.

There’s a smell of dog when you go in near the entrance but the rooms smell nice.I think I must have misunderstood re: breakfast but you have to tell them what time you want your choice of breakfast to be served.

Room was very nice and clean and comfortable

No staff members on premises during the night if you want to leave early or arrive late you have to let yourself out or in via the fire escape. Also Breakfast was virtually non existent . We Missed two of the three days breakfasts as they were far too late for us as we wanted to set of reasonably early as breakfast was served from 9 o’clock and 9.30 . A member of staff knocked on our door and asked why we didn't order breakfast my wife said that they are to late for us, the staff member just said OK and left didn't offer an earlier breakfast. As the staff don't turn up for work until later on. I have contacted Busfeild Arms since we returned home via email with my concerns about the Breakfast or lack of it should I say and they haven't even got the common decency to reply to my email. . As I said very expensive for what you actually get.
