The House Hostel

We had such a wonderful stay at Mr. Yu’s hostel! From the moment we arrived, Mr. Yu was incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. He took the time to show us everything on the map and gave us so many great recommendations for sightseeing, local food, cozy restaurants and places worth visiting. You could really feel that he genuinely wanted us to have a great stay and enjoy our time here. The hostel itself was a very pleasant place to stay, but what really made our experience special was Mr. Yu and his warm hospitality. He is such a friendly and caring host, and we are very grateful for everything he did for us. Thank you so much, Mr. Yu, for making our stay so enjoyable! We would absolutely recommend staying here and would be very happy to come back one day. Dank u, Mr. Yu!!

The bed I slept in was exceptionally comfortable, especially for a hostel. I’ve had quite a few different experiences in the past, and this one definitely stood out. The owner was really helpful and, most importantly, spoke quite good English, not just “a little bit.” The welcome was warm, and overall, it was a really pleasant hostel experience.

The view from my room was not particularly appealing, and there was a somewhat unpleasant odor that I couldn’t quite identify. Maybe humidity from the ocean ...

The host was so kind and helpful and gave us so much information on what to do in Seoraksan. The hostel itself was so cute and very well decorated. You could tell so much care went into it.

Yoo, the host, was extremely friendly and helpful. The hostel is in a great location, you can easily explore the whole town from there. Bus stop is 1 minute walk. The room is spacious and has everything you need.
