Spotlessly clean, good stick of teas, coffee etc. the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the pub next door was amazing.

Nothing to dislike

Although the property outside looks like a modern 'motel' style building, inside it is very comfortable with lovely deep carpets and an air of quality. The welcome couldn't have been more genuine and warm and our room was lovely. There are renovations going on, and our room was unrenovated but still comfy and had everything we needed. We could see the rooms that have been renovated and they are superb. Breakfast and other meals can be taken at the pub next door the Dog and Gun, and we found that also welcoming and the food excellent. The location is lovely, with rural views all around. We didn't use them but there was a guest lounge with honesty bar and a swimming pool!

Nothing really, there was a squeaky door on our wardrobe but I'm really searching for negatives! Once the room is renovated it will be top notch.

Clean, warm, beautifully decorated room. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. Convenient pub meals next door (Main meals start at around £19 each unless you go mid week when there are special offers). Lovely swimming pool & sauna if you have time to use. Gorgeous location, amazing views.

Would be nice if pool was accessible late evening and early morning.
